Job Overview

Little Voyageurs' Montessori School (LVMS) is seeking a full-time Children’s House Montessori Guide to start preferably at the beginning of summer session (June 2026); a start date for the fall program may be considered. • Planning and implementing Montessori activities in the areas of Practical Life, Sensorial, Mathematics, Language, Culture/Geography, Science, Music, and Art
• Presenting developmentally appropriate material/activities to individuals and groups of children
• Creating and maintaining a safe, nurturing, self-directed environment for students
• Designing creative and engaging activities to spark children’s individual interests
• Facilitating a harmonious work environment with co-workers and children
• Engaging in proactive communication with colleagues, parents, and Board Members
• Writing and delivering conferences and information for parents
• Displaying leadership, flexibility, and patience

Minimum:

• Montessori Diploma (completed or in progress)
• Experience working in an early childhood program

Preferred:

• Experience working in a Montessori environment
