Middle School Social Studies Teacher

Position Overview

Bultum Academy Charter School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Social Studies Teacher to inspire students in grades 6-8. The ideal candidate will create engaging, standards-aligned lessons that foster critical thinking, cultural awareness, and a deep understanding of history, geography, civics, and global studies.

• Develop and deliver dynamic, inquiry-based Social Studies lessons.
• Promote student engagement through discussions, projects, and real-world connections.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-curricular learning.
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners.
• Participate in school events, professional development, and parent-teacher conferences.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, History, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Valid teaching certification in Social Studies (or equivalent).
• Experience teaching middle school students (preferred).
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
