The City of Columbia, Illinois is accepting applications for three to five Police Officer positions – Entry Level and Lateral Hire Applicants may apply. Entry level applicants must be at least 20.5 YOA with a minimum of 64 hours of college credit or military service. Lateral Hire Police Officer Applicants must have certification by ILETSB or out‑of‑state training board certification, currently employed as a full‑time police officer with at least two years’ experience, and a minimum of 30 hours college credit or military service.
