** Why This Role Matters*
* As a Phlebotomist, you play a critical role in the patient experience and diagnostic testing process. Your expertise in specimen collection, attention to detail, and commitment to quality help ensure accurate test results while delivering exceptional care and service to every patient.
** What You'll Do*
* + Collect blood specimens through venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric collections
+ Accurately label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
+ Verify patient demographics and obtain required patient signatures to ensure specimen accuracy
+ Maintain required records and documentation in accordance with established procedures
+ Create a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for patients
+ Follow established policies, procedures, quality standards, and confidentiality requirements
+ Travel between patient service centers and physician offices as needed
+ Perform specimen collection and processing duties independently while meeting productivity and quality expectations
** What We're Looking For*
* + A current, up-to-date resume
+ High school diploma or equivalent required
+ 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
+ Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
+ Phlebotomy certification preferred
+ Strong customer service and patient communication skills
+ Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
+ Keyboard and data entry proficiency
+ Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between locations as needed
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
+ Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and varying schedules based on business needs
+ Ability to meet compliance requirements
