About the Team
Door Dash's largest restaurant partners — brands operating thousands of locations — run on integrations with our platform. Our team owns the technical relationship with these partners end to end. Not a quarterly engagement, not a deliverable that gets shelved — you own the account, see the impact, and stay in the room as it compounds.
We are the technical arm of our accounts and partnerships teams – bringing technical depth to every conversation. We look at the full picture — how a partner's menu performs, how their operations run, how their customers experience the brand on our platform — and find where the growth is. Then we size it, make the case, and drive it to a result.
If you've spent your career breaking down ambiguous problems, building structured recommendations, and presenting to senior stakeholders — but want to own the outcome instead of handing off a deck — this is the team.
About the RoleWe’re looking for a Senior Specialist on our Partner Integrations team. You'll own a portfolio of Door Dash's highest-value restaurant partnerships — accounts that do hundreds of millions in annual volume on our platform. At that scale, the technical strategy decisions you make compound into real business impact for both Door Dash and the partner.
You are the technical strategist on these accounts. You'll pull apart complex problems — operational, technical, commercial — find the insight that changes the conversation, and build the case with data. Then you won't hand it off. You'll drive it through to a measurable result and own what happens next.
You set the technical direction for your accounts — defining what good looks like and making sure we get there. No two accounts look the same. One week you're diagnosing why a partner's order volume dropped; the next you're presenting a growth roadmap to their Head of Digital.
This is the role for someone who's tired of rotating off engagements and wants continuity — but not monotony. You'll build deep expertise in your partners' businesses over time, compound your impact quarter over quarter, and see the full arc from insight to outcome.
You'll sit within Door Dash's Merchant Strategy & Operations organization, working cross-functionally with accounts, partnerships, product, and engineering.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…- Own the technical strategy for some of the largest restaurant brands in the world — and see your recommendations turn into real business outcomes
- Work directly with senior stakeholders on the partner side and internally, not through layers of hierarchy
- Build deep, lasting expertise in your accounts instead of rotating off every quarter
- Solve problems that span technology, operations, and commercial strategy — no two weeks look the same
- Use data to tell stories that drive decisions, not just populate dashboards
- Have the autonomy to define what good looks like for your accounts and the accountability to make it happen
- Compound your impact over time — the relationships you build and the strategies you set will grow with the accounts
- Sit at the intersection of Door Dash's most strategic partnerships and the technology that powers them
- You can take an ambiguous problem, break it into structured pieces, and communicate the answer to someone who doesn't share your technical background
- You're as comfortable in a SQL query as you are in a stakeholder presentation
- You've managed or influenced accounts/clients — you know what it means to own a relationship and drive outcomes over time
- You understand APIs, integrations, and how technology decisions ripple into business results
- You lead with data — you don't just have opinions, you build the evidence to back them up
- You've worked cross-functionally and know how to get things done when you don't own every lever
- You communicate clearly in writing and in person — you know that the best recommendation is worthless if no one acts on it
- 3+ years in technical consulting, solutions engineering, technical account management, or a similar client-facing technical role
- Strong analytical skills — comfortable with SQL and AI, data analysis, and…
