Position Title: Fill Line Operator
Wage: $19.75 per hour
Shift: 2nd
Hours:
4:00pm-2:30am (Mon‑Thurs)
- Operate, monitor, and adjust fill line equipment to ensure accurate product volumes and consistent output.
- Set up filling machinery for different product types, container sizes, and production runs.
- Verify product specifications, batch numbers, and labeling requirements before and during production.
- Perform routine quality checks, including fill weights, seal integrity, and labeling accuracy.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards when handling chemicals.
- Safely handle, transfer, and package hazardous and non-hazardous liquid products.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on filling and packaging equipment.
- Clean and sanitize tanks, lines, and work areas following proper procedures.
- Document production data, inventory usage, and quality results accurately.
- Work closely with warehouse, quality control, and maintenance teams to meet production goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, chemical processing, or packaging operations preferred.
- Ability to operate industrial machinery and understand production workflows.
- Basic math skills for measuring and verifying product quantities.
- Ability to read and interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a warehouse or production environment with exposure to chemicals, noise, and varying temperatures.
- Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, goggles, and respirators as needed.
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
- Experience with automated filling systems or chemical blending processes.
- Mechanical aptitude for equipment adjustments and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of hazardous material handling and labeling regulations.
