Luhr Crosby, LLC is seeking Electrical Technicians!
The Electrical Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, problem solving, repairing, and maintaining equipment in a timely manner.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues.
- Install, assemble, and disassemble mechanical components.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Fabricate parts as needed using various tools and equipment.
- Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Always adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
- Install, repair and troubleshoot gensets from 1 kw to 205kw+ in both single and three phase systems.
- Frequent use of multimeter/amp clamps for troubleshooting.
Must be willing to learn in the first 12 months:
- Strong knowledge of low voltage systems and electrical components.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Ability to fabricate parts using various tools and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and industrial automation systems;
Mitsubishi, Melsec logic and Rockwell Automation. - Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Knowledge of shore power, residential, commercial and industrial electrical systems.
- Able to communicate with team members in a timely professional manner.
- Must be able to sit, crawl, stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach, grip, crouch, balance, kneel and climb frequently.
- Must be able to lift and carry 50-100 lbs. frequently.
- Must be able to push and pull 50-100 lbs. frequently.
Requires up to 25% overnight travel.
