School Social Worker

Duties

? Provide therapy that would include individual and group counseling

? Provide IEP minutes to students on caseload

? Background and knowledge in working with students who experience mental health and/or behavioral

issues are preferred.

Experience with developing FBA and BIP desired.

? Work with crisis situations; CPI trained preferred

? Involvement with students who experience attendance, academic, social, and emotional issues

? Assist administration and teachers as needed with student concerns

? Serve as a liaison between school and home with ongoing communication and provision of information

from outside agencies to help families with challenges

? Involvement with RtI and student assistance teams

? Conduct behavioral assessments and case study evaluations for special education referrals and

re-evaluations.

Qualifications

Masters of Social Work (MSW);
Illinois Certification Required.
