We’re partnering with a publicly traded, highly respected real estate development and investment firm with a strong national footprint and a reputation for delivering complex, mission‑critical projects.

This role sits at the corporate headquarters and supports a portfolio of active development projects
—making it ideal for someone with a construction accounting background who wants exposure to high‑impact, large‑scale developments.

• Manage cost accounting and financial reporting across multiple development projects
• Maintain complete job cost ledgers and historical project records
• Perform percentage‑of‑completion (POC) revenue accounting and reporting
• Prepare and review labor allocations, journal entries, and monthly close activities
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Support depreciation reviews and other month‑end processes
• Partner cross‑functionally with development, project management, and finance teams

• Background in construction accounting or development accounting (highly preferred)
• Experience with job cost accounting, WIP/POC revenue recognition
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Experience working with real estate development or large‑scale construction projects
