Responsibilities
The Part‑Time Accounts Payable Clerk supports the finance department by processing invoices, maintaining vendor records, and ensuring timely and accurate payment of obligations. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Review, code, and process vendor invoices for payment.
- Assist with weekly check runs and electronic payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate accounts payable records and documentation.
- Respond to vendor and internal department inquiries.
- Support month‑end closing activities and other accounting projects as needed.
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting support experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information and meet deadlines.
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably, in good faith, believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
