Smith Staffing Services has Immediate need for the following Contract positions at one of our clients within the Howard County, Maryland area.
Accountant
This is a 6 weeks or longer contract position
Job Description- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule
- Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures
- Analyze revenues, commissions and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations
- Proven working experience in accounting or relevant field
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Strong accounting software user
- Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
- CPA or CMA preferred
