Audit Senior with EBP Exp

We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior with a strong emphasis on Employee Benefits Plans (EBP). The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting audits, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional client service in the area of employee benefits. This role requires a keen analytical mindset and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct audits of employee benefit plans including 401(k), 403(b), and 11k plans.
• Review and assess compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to employee benefits.
• Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to clients.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure audits are completed accurately and on time.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members in audit procedures and best practices.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and standards regarding employee benefit plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of audit experience, with a focus on employee benefits preferred.
• Strong knowledge of EBP regulations and standards.
• CPA certification is a plus.
• Experience with labor unions and their benefit plans is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
