Entry Level Accounting Specialist

Job Overview

Accounts Receivable Specialist in the sales industry. This role is open to recent college graduates or candidates who are strong in Excel. It offers a temporary‑to‑permanent path and a hybrid work model.

• Salary: $18 - $20 per hour
• Temporary to permanent; hybrid schedule (90 days in either status)

• Process check payments and credit‑card payments promptly and accurately.
• Maintain a strong working relationship with the sales team, providing support and feedback.
• Post all revenue for billing, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies or errors and take corrective action.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and procedures.
• Participate in the development and implementation of strategies to improve the revenue cycle.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounts receivable role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
• Exceptional customer service skills and effective communication.
• Proficiency in processing check and credit‑card payments.
• Experience partnering with sales teams and building strong relationships.
• Ability to post revenue for billing accurately and consistently.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to resolve issues promptly.
• Excellent organization and time‑management skills; able to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency with various software applications and systems related to accounts receivable and financial management.
