Under the general direction of the Title Branch Manager, the Title Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and processing property title transactions, maintaining accurate records and ensuring all title documents are ordered / delivered in a timely manner. This position supports the title process by opening files, ordering title work, generating reports and invoices and communicating with internal teams and lenders. Regular, predictable and dependable attendance is essential to satisfactory performance of this job.
Minimum Requirements- High School diploma or GED equivalent or equivalent experience may substitute;
- Six months’ office experience required;
- Experience in a title office preferred
- Must be detail oriented;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer knowledge, Microsoft Office Suite
- Order title searches for residential and commercial properties.
- Review title reports and identify title issues, liens, tax or ownership discrepancies.
- Types and prepares property & judgment reports from abstractor and sends completed reports to lenders.
- Track title orders and monitor closing deadlines.
- Maintain organized electronic and paper files for all title transactions.
- Processes e-recordings of deeds of trust, mortgages and other documents using Simplifile.
- Provide administrative support for the closing and escrow teams.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
$20.00 - $23.00 hourly; actual wage is based upon education and experience. Potential for formulary incentive plan, based on financial results.
