As a Software Engineer at CyberPoint, you will design, develop and maintain advanced software solutions supporting mission-critical systems with a strong emphasis on platform engineering, containerized environments and scalable infrastructure.
In this role, you'll work across modern cloud-native architectures, leveraging Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and automation to deliver resilient, high-performance systems. You'll collaborate closely with engineers, operators and stakeholders to drive technical solutions, improve development processes and ensure operational excellence across environments.

- Design, develop and modify software to add new features and enhance system performance
- Implement high-performance algorithms and integrate applications into diverse environments
- Engineer and support production-grade Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support Git Ops-based workflows
- Design and implement complex data interfaces and queries for system interoperability
- Analyze system performance, workflows and data usage to develop optimized technical solutions
- Write and review technical documentation and contribute to software development standards
- Assist in developing and executing comprehensive test procedures for software components
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, management and customers to ensure mission success
- Present technical findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Support system reliability through automation, monitoring and continuous improvement practices
This position is 100% onsite and requires an active TS/SCI+FSP Security Clearance

What You’ll Need
- US Citizenship
- Active TS/SCI + Full Scope Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Four (4) additional years of Software Engineering experience may be substituted for a degree
- Twenty (20) years of experience as a Software Engineer on programs of similar scope and complexity
- Hands-on experience with:
- Kubernetes (production-grade cluster operations or platform engineering)
- Containerization concepts (including pod security standards)
- Git Ops workflows and CI/CD pipeline development
- Python and Bash scripting
- Working knowledge of PKI certificates and PKI management
- Experience with Linux system administration fundamentals
- Experience using Jira and Confluence for task tracking and documentation
- Strong experience designing and integrating complex software systems

- Deep experience in cloud-native architecture and platform engineering
- Experience automating infrastructure and application deployments at scale
- Strong background in system performance optimization and reliability engineering
- Familiarity with security best practices in containerized and distributed environments
- Experience driving process improvements across development and Dev Ops workflows
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction and present to stakeholders
