Job Overview
Energetics is seeking an EV Charging Station Data Analyst to collect, process, and analyze electric vehicle charging station data from various network service providers, generating a clean, aggregated dataset that drives interactive dashboards visualizing key statistics.
Responsibilities- Analyze electric vehicle operational and charging session data
- Create data frameworks for automated data transfer
- Conduct quality control on received data sets
- Characterize data by removing proprietary information
- Add cleansed data sets into the database for post-processing
- Run utilization and other reports based on various attributes
- Create visually interesting tabular and graphical summaries
- Deploy and run code on cloud computing platforms
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, data science, or a related technical field from an accredited university
- Data analysis software and programming experience (e.g., MS Azure, Python, GIS, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, interpersonal, and written)
- Interest in energy efficiency and clean energy with specific emphasis on transportation technologies such as alternative fuels, vehicle electrification, and connected and autonomous vehicles
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills
- Successful self‑management of tasks
- Ability to work within a diverse team
- Comfortable multitasking on time‑sensitive tasks without diminished quality of work
- Degree in data science or related certifications
- 2–5 years of professional experience with electric vehicle and charging station data collection and analysis
- Database setup and management
- Advanced data analytics and visualization experience (e.g., Python, R, Matlab) or GIS program use and results analysis
- Familiarity with alternative fuels and transportation electrification
- Data modeling and transformation
- CI/CD workflow development
- Cloud computing resource coordination & deployment
Target Compensation: $61,100 – $70,000 annually.
Compensation Range: $61,100 to $78,000 USD.
DOT RequirementsIf applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
