Position: RF Mechanical Engineer II

Job type:

• Serve as a technical resource to the organization.
• Collaborate in a multi‑discipline team setting to solve complex engineering problems.
• Create 3D CAD models and engineering drawings for RF and Photonic product designs.
• Develop prototype hardware designs and coordinate fabrication.
• Perform hands‑on integration and test support for prototype hardware.
• Hold design and drawing reviews with peers and subject‑matter experts.
• Support lab operations by designing, fabricating, and troubleshooting test fixturing and equipment.
• Manage suppliers for built‑to‑print or built‑to‑specification RF and Photonic products.

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• Minimum 2 years of engineering‑related experience in mechanical design.
• Experience with solid modeling tools such as CREO.
• Experience in rapid prototyping and hardware integration.

• Experience in antenna and/or electronics packaging.
• Experience working with optical fiber splicers.
• Experience potting RF or Photonic systems.
• Experience creating engineering drawings.
• Experience fabricating prototype designs.
• Experience working collaboratively in a multi‑disciplinary team.
• Experience supporting lab operations.
• Self‑motivated problem solver with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.

• Salary range: $75,800 – $144,200 USD.
