Position: RF Mechanical Engineer II
Location:

Top Secret required; requires U.S. citizenship (no other visas).
Job type:
Onsite.
- Serve as a technical resource to the organization.
- Collaborate in a multi‑discipline team setting to solve complex engineering problems.
- Create 3D CAD models and engineering drawings for RF and Photonic product designs.
- Develop prototype hardware designs and coordinate fabrication.
- Perform hands‑on integration and test support for prototype hardware.
- Hold design and drawing reviews with peers and subject‑matter experts.
- Support lab operations by designing, fabricating, and troubleshooting test fixturing and equipment.
- Manage suppliers for built‑to‑print or built‑to‑specification RF and Photonic products.
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- Minimum 2 years of engineering‑related experience in mechanical design.
- Experience with solid modeling tools such as CREO.
- Experience in rapid prototyping and hardware integration.
- Experience in antenna and/or electronics packaging.
- Experience working with optical fiber splicers.
- Experience potting RF or Photonic systems.
- Experience creating engineering drawings.
- Experience fabricating prototype designs.
- Experience working collaboratively in a multi‑disciplinary team.
- Experience supporting lab operations.
- Self‑motivated problem solver with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Salary range: $75,800 – $144,200 USD.
