Construction Services Supervisor

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a full-time position available for a Construction Services Supervisor in our Washington, DC;
Maryland; or Virginia office locations.

Responsibilities include:

* Managing and mentoring staff, including assigning work and monitoring work quality

* Leading construction inspectors on materials testing and inspection procedures

* Conducting, coordinating, evaluating, and recommending training to develop staff skills

* Assisting the Department Manager with staffing resource allocation and business planning

* Providing project management and supervision for CEI projects

* Managing business development opportunities and client relationships

* Ensuring transportation group and M&H policies/procedures are maintained and followed

A valid driver's license and travel will be required.

The successful candidate must have all the following:

* Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field from an accredited college or university

* At least 3 years of relevant engineering experience

OR

* Associate degree in engineering or related field from an accredited college or university

* At least 5 years of relevant engineering experience

OR

* If no degree, must have at least 7 years of relevant engineering experience.

The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:

* PE license in MD, DC or VA

* Ten (10) years of industry-related experience

* Construction Manager (CCM) Certification

* Experience supervising and mentoring staff

* Experience with construction site quality control and quality assurance, claim reviews, and reviewing change orders

* Experience with cost estimates and project scheduling

* Experience preparing proposals and managing contracts

Salary Range: $115,000 to $145,000 annually - Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set, or location.
