Hardware Engineer

Job Description

PLEX Solutions, LLC is seeking a Hardware Engineer to support a program in the Columbia, MD area. PLEX is a proud EOE Employer including veteran/disabled.

• 3+ years VHDL/Verilog development on modern FPGAs (Xilinx/Intel), preferably high-speed networking (100G+).
• Experience with high-speed digital interfaces is desired.
• Proficiency in System Verilog, and extensive experience with Xilinx/Intel FPGA design tools and high-speed interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, DDR).
• Desired skills include experience with network security applications, networking protocols and standards, scripting languages (Python, Tcl), and familiarity with hardware security requirements.

SALARY RANGE:

$85K – $200K

Salary offered will depend on numerous qualifying factors such as clearance, degree, and the years and depth of applicable experience. The salary range is a general guideline for each position. The actual salary is determined by specific program, labor category, education/certifications, professional experience and security clearance levels. As a government contractor the labor category minimum qualifications determine suitability of each candidate and the corresponding salary allowable.
