Responsibilities
- Support customer projects from a Procurement perspective, pre-bid until ordering stage
- Support development teams with selection of suppliers according to the corporate strategies
- Ensure that selected materials meet the engineering specifications, regulatory standards etc.
- Create transparency in terms of decisions and costs in the material selection process
- Negotiate pricing, terms and delivery schedule in accordance with the project requirements
- Identification of synergies in between customer projects
- Locate new sources of supply and cooperate closely with suppliers and corporate Procurement
- Initiate or participate in value engineering exercises/projects
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager
