The Opportunity- Embark on overseas deployments, tackling exciting challenges in critical intelligence communities.
- Dive deep into electronic analysis of target devices, unraveling their mysteries from basic signaling to advanced modifications.
- Craft compelling reports and briefings, showcasing expertise in characterization, vulnerabilities, and exploitation recommendations.
- Team up with brilliant engineers and subject matter experts to solve complex problems and respond to RFIs.
- Stay at the forefront of technology by researching emerging techniques and conducting laboratory-based analyses.
- Capture, characterize and identify electrical/electronic RF receiver and transmitter modules, operating frequencies and power.
- Identify electronic components visually, conduct research, provide information, develop accurate schematics of electronics systems.
- Analyze, demodulate and decode signals in order to extract intelligence data and develop standardized demodulation and decoding tools.
- Perform electronic data recovery on various devices using state-of-the-art forensic tools such as XRY, Cellbrite, and Graykey.
- Create engaging technical reports on captured data.
- Maintain meticulous chain of custody and expertly handle evidence to ensure forensic integrity.
As an EE Deployer, you will be the go‑to expert in a forward, level two exploitation lab, supporting DOW conventional, SOF, and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) warfighters and many other government organizations. You will handle the collection and exploitation of recovered electronic devices.
This role demands independence and the ability to thrive in isolated work environments. You will coordinate with CONUS-based engineering staff, generate forensics reports, and respond to analytical requirements.
Be prepared to maintain assigned equipment, provide mission support, conduct training, and field capabilities in electrical forensics applications, tools, and systems.
When not deployed, you will dive into cutting‑edge training exercises supporting US and Partner forces. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with top‑tier technical forensic engineers, contributing to advanced level 3 exploitation projects. This hands‑on experience at home will sharpen your skills and prepare you for field challenges.
