Senior Waveform Engineer
Salary: $90,220 - $140,000
Senior Waveform Engineer advising the government on design choices, requirements, and technologies related to radar and communications.
Essential Job Functions:
- Work independently and as part of several larger teams advising the government on the waveform aspects of radar and communications systems.
- Participate in systems engineering technical review process, review requirements, design, and other documentation.
- Design, plan, and execute or witness testing of radar and communications systems.
Required Skills:
- Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
- A Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline plus 8 years of experience is required.
- Active Secret clearance.
- At least 3 years of experience with integration of radar or communications systems into DoD (preferably Navy) aircraft.
- Familiarity with NAVAIR systems engineering processes.
Desired
Skills:
- Master's degree in any engineering field with concentration on waveform design.
- Experience with NAVAIR systems engineering processes.
