Program Master Scheduler

About This Role

Textron Systems is seeking a dedicated Program Master Scheduler to develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules for programs in our Weapons Systems business segment. In this role you will work cross‑functionally with Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain and Operations to develop, manage and report on Engineering Development and Production schedules. You will also provide and develop scheduling best practices in Earned Value Management.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Integrated Master Plan/Schedule compliant to DIDs, PASEG, GASP and WBS Standard; assist in baseline development, resource assignment, earned value methods and verification of contract budget baseline.
  • Maintain in‑depth knowledge of Organization, Planning, Scheduling & Budgeting and Analysis & Management Reports for EVM SSP guidelines and rules.
  • Hold meetings with PMs, CAMs and WPMs to obtain monthly accomplishments and future requirements.
  • Establish logic, predecessors and successors to develop an accurate critical path for a program.
  • Develop, update and maintain schedule performance metrics, related processes and management tools including critical path analysis and schedule risk assessment.
  • Advise the Program Manager and Control Account Managers on schedule performance, forecasts and risks.
  • Ensure integration and synchronization of cost and schedule EVM data.
  • Support Earned Value Management process reviews.
Qualifications
  • 10 years’ experience in scheduling within engineering development and/or manufacturing operation, or other similar experience.
  • Demonstrated success in planning, developing, baselining and tracking schedules for commercial and DoD programs.
  • Familiarity with schedule management within the Primavera P6 scheduling tool, Microsoft Project or Deltek Open Plan.
  • Proven working knowledge of advanced scheduling methodologies and techniques.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with implementing, tracking and reporting schedule performance/Earned Value.
  • Ability to derive, interpret and present schedule performance and efficiency metrics to senior leadership (e.g., schedule variance, SPI, milestone burndown, plan vs actual).
  • Ability to develop and report on Schedule Risk Analyses (SRA).
  • Experience supporting development of Integrated Master Plans and transitioning them into Integrated Master Schedules.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to interface effectively across the organization.
  • Familiarity with schedules in an MRP/ERP environment (SAP, Oracle, MAPICS, BAAN, etc.).
  • Possesses or has ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance.

Pay range: $110,500 – $167,900 per year.
