General Engineer

Duties

You will develop and review program technical and mission documentation, providing authoritative input and advice on all engineering and technical issues and ensuring engineering requirements are met.

You will participate in the development and design of new systems by assessing if available or imminent technology is sufficient to meet requirements or system concepts are applicable to fleet operational requirements.

You will recommend revised operational requirements or design concepts as required.

You will formulate engineering design concepts and performance requirements which provide the basis for overall technical and engineering planning for the assigned system.

You will maintain knowledge of current arid future capabilities, problems and demands upon the system(s) and provides overall technical planning for development, engineering, and evaluation of programs.

You will develop all engineering portions of Procurement Requests, Requests for Proposal, Requests for Quotations, etc.
