* a-v-yin*) we believe in the extraordinary potential of every individual. We are currently seeking our next Employee Owner to fill a role as an Engineering Technician supporting the MQ-25/PMA-268 Program at NAS Patuxent River, MD.
The ideal candidate will apply electrical and electronic theory and related knowledge, as part of an engineering staff. They will be responsible for working with the engineering staff to build, repair, adjust, and modify electrical components, circuitry, controls, and machinery for subsequent evaluation and use by engineering staff in making engineering design decisions.
Responsibilities include:
- Properly operate and install integrated computer/communication systems.
- Ability to test and understand the operations of consoles, simulators, and other data acquisition systems
- Provide support to appropriate types of test equipment and systems as requested by the engineering staff.
- Capable of utilizing test equipment to measure effectiveness and accuracy of equipment
- Apply electrical and electronic theory and related knowledge
- Ability to build, repair, adjust and modify electrical components, circuitry, controls and machinery under the direction of engineering staff
Qualifications include:
- Must have 3 to 10 years of experience
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Department of Defense security clearance.
- Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
- The salary range for this role is $100,000-$110,000 (The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.)
