We are currently looking for an experienced Financial Operations Analyst based out of our North American headquarters in Columbia, Maryland. This position is a hybrid role but does require being onsite when necessary and candidates must reside within a commutable distance of the office.

Your tasks
  • Expense, revenue, and margin forecast preparation
  • Data validation
  • Headcount tracking
  • Expense, revenue, and margin budget preparation
  • Perform system administration functions to ensure that areas meet business requirements. Examples include forecast preparation; data validation; issue investigation and resolution; documentation.
  • Execute and manage the monthly cost centers ledgers in SAP, monthly jobs, ensuring the integrity results posted, independently resolving issues or elevating issues to key partners as needed while ensuring adherence to the specified month-end schedule.
  • Work with purchasing to ensure proper coding of purchase requisitions and purchase orders for cost center and account numbers.
  • Support cost center managers to interpret and analyze monthly results.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual expense, revenue, and margin forecasting.
  • Variance analysis of forecast vs. actual expense, revenue, and margin.
  • Prepare annual budget in accordance with parent company schedule.
  • Headcount tracking within specific business areas forecasting hire dates and costs while maintaining position movements.
  • Prepare monthly commission calculations and reporting within specific business areas.
  • Provide cost insight into management and finance.
  • Prepare month end reporting packages.
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting and business finance experience, seamlessly integrating with business functions.
  • Expert proficiency in SAP FI/CO modules. Prior experience with SAP S/4

    HANA is a plus.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and their integration with sales processes.
  • CPA, CPA candidate or related certification is preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a commitment to continuous improvement and collaboration.
  • Potential business travel (2-3 times per year).
  • In order to be considered, candidates must reside in the US and have valid work authorization.

The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.
