Business Valuation Analyst​/Associate

Evergreen Advisors seeks a Valuation Financial Analyst / Associate for its Business Valuation practice. This position is located in their Columbia, Maryland office. Evergreen Advisors is a leading investment bank and advisory firm focused on assisting emerging growth and middle-market companies in the areas of corporate finance, growth and exit strategies, valuations and advisory services.

Analysts and Associates work within a team environment in all aspects of the client engagement along with actively assisting in the analysis and resolution of client matters while taking direction and receiving guidance from experienced staff and management members.

Perform business valuations on a wide range of public and private entities in various industries using accepted and relevant approaches and theory.

Prepares detailed valuation reports and financial analysis.

1-4/Associate for its years of full-time work experience as a Valuation Analyst

CVA, ASA, and/or ABV preferred depending on experience level

Strong Experience with financial statement analysis including established valuation analysis and modeling skills are required; experience with Capital IQ and Pitchbook is a plus.

• Working knowledge of financial statements and GAAP
• Financial trend/common size analysis, ratios, and financial benchmarking
• Working knowledge of business valuation methods, including discounted cash flow, guideline company, and guideline transaction methods

Solid technical, written, and verbal communication skills

• Research and presentation of public company financial information
• Research and presentation of merger and acquisition data
• Economic and industry research

Resourceful self‑starter, able to work autonomously and as a team player.

Pay Range: $70,000-$90,000
