For more information, please visit  Columbia office in Maryland is looking for an Associate Financial Advisor working as part of an advisory team, and on behalf of senior advisors, helps clients achieve their financial goals.

Provides client service that exceeds client’s expectations. Helps the team/Company meet objectives for sales growth, client retention and customer service quality.

The expected pay range for this Associate Financial Advisor position is $75,000 to $125,000 annually. This range includes a base salary and may receive variable compensation, the company in good faith believes it would pay in this range for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, and credentials, education and professional experience, tenure, cost-of living, and demand for the role in the applicable market.

Primary Job Functions1) Work with the financial advisory team to actively manage client relationships, service, and WEG’s planning-based standard of identitya. Assist the Financial Advisor during client meetings and with follow-upTake meeting notes and promptly enter into CRMPresent financial advice or plan to client with the Financial Advisor Meet with client to obtain additional planning information or to clarify/confirm information providedb.

Analyze client’s current investments and insurance policiesc. Place trades and account management2) Prepare annual reviews as required by the teama. Systematize the review process utilizing the CRM systemb. Gather data for client reviews and review client files for additional sales opportunitiesc. Create reviews utilizing the Wealth Enhancement Group review systemd. Monitor percentage of client’s that were reviewed in the last calendar year3) Create financial plans for clients as required by the teama.

Analyze a client’s financial data in light of their financial goalsb. Meet or call clients to obtain any additional planning information or clarify/confirm information providedc. Prepare client information to present to the Roundtable, if requiredd. Work effectively and professionally with the Financial Planning department, if required4) Participate in Wealth Enhancement Group trainings, educational events, coaching programs, and proficient in advisor/client facing technology5) Adherence to the Wealth Enhancement Group’s Corporate Communication Strategy and in good compliance standing

Education/Qualifications Requires a 4-year degree; business, finance, economics preferred

Advanced designation or working toward obtaining (CFP, CPA, MBA, etc.)Series 7, 66 (BD/RIA)
Series 65 (RIA Only)
Insurance Licenses2+ years of experience within the wealth management industry

Ability to prepare client reviews and assist in meetings with senior advisors

Must possess excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills (both oral & written)
Must be able to manage multiple projects at once Engagement in the communityOSHA Requirement This position requires the ability to stand or sit for long periods of time, file documents in high or low cabinets, to use the telephone and to use the computer systems.
