About The Role

We are looking for a Finance Leader to join Gore PharmBIO and oversee our Finance & Accounting organization. In this role, you will lead financial planning processes, manage multiple systems and tools, and deliver meaningful analysis that supports informed decision‑making at the executive level. You will partner closely with Functional leaders to ensure consistent direction, data‑driven decision making, while advancing strategic initiatives through rigorous modeling and scenario planning.

Additionally, you will develop and mentor FP&A and Accounting team members, fostering a high‑performing, collaborative environment that supports long‑term organizational capability.

This position will be located at our Elk Mills 2 facility in Elkton, Maryland, with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement of four days in the office and one day remote.

Pay And Benefits
  • $140,000 - $150,000 per year
  • Roles above $150k are eligible for the variable pay program each fiscal year, based on defined business performance metrics.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust financial planning processes, including strategy planning, annual planning, and quarterly forecasting
  • Adopt new and support existing financial systems, tools, and processes to improve data accuracy, quality, and reporting efficiency across the organization. Engage with Enterprise Finance to optimize financial tools and processes and to ensure broader enterprise consistency
  • Deliver insightful financial analysis to support executive leadership, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to drive business performance
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and key stakeholders
  • Partner with Business and Function Leaders and Financial Analysts to analyze and track key performance indicators (KPIs), operational metrics, and cost drivers
  • Support inorganic growth efforts and other strategic initiatives through rigorous financial modeling and scenario analysis
  • Develop and maintain new product development models in partnership with Commercial leaders to deploy strategic initiatives that drive organic growth
  • Champion the use of AI and advanced analytics to improve financial decision‑making, optimize business performance, and drive strategic value creation
  • Coach, align, and empower associates to build capability, deliver results, and advance new opportunities while fostering PharmBIO’s culture of curiosity and inclusion with customers, suppliers, and associates
  • Champion continuous improvement by embedding the Gore Business System, including Daily Management, Kaizen, and revenue‑focused problem‑solving, to drive operational excellence and sustainable growth
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, including leadership responsibilities
  • Proven experience in deploying and optimizing financial systems and driving user adoption
  • Strong analytical, modeling, and problem‑solving skills with proficiency in Excel and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion)
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with a proven track record of influencing senior executives
  • Experience in a fast‑paced, dynamic business environment; prior work in multinational and matrixed companies
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high‑quality results
  • High integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to confidentiality
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
Desired Qualifications
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
  • Experience with M&A
  • Experience with visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau).
