Financial Advisor - Community Outreach & Client Development
About the Role
Wealthy & Wise is expanding its advisory practice and seeking a licensed Financial Advisor to lead client development within the Hindi-speaking community across Virginia, Maryland, and the greater DMV area. This is a relationship-driven role for someone who combines genuine investment-advisory capability with strong cultural fluency and a passion for building trust in an underserved market.
You'll be the face of our advisory services in the community — meeting clients, hosting educational seminars, and growing awareness of what fiduciary, client-first financial guidance looks like.
What You'll Do
- Build and grow an advisory client base within the Hindi-speaking community across DMV region
- Meet with prospective and existing clients throughout the DMV region
- Organize and host financial-education seminars in community settings across Northern Virginia and the Columbia/Ellicott City area
- Represent the firm in community and Hindi-language media outreach
- Provide fiduciary investment advice aligned with each client's goals
What You Bring
- Series 65 license required (active and in good standing)
- Professional fluency in Hindi — this role directly serves Hindi-speaking clients and requires the ability to advise, present, and build relationships in Hindi
- Strong ties to, or the ability to build relationships within, the Indian community in the DMV region
- Comfort with public speaking and community outreach
- Client-development or advisory experience preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Location & Schedule
- Hybrid role: primarily remote, based in or near Virginia within the DMV area
- On-site at our Columbia, MD office twice weekly to work with other advisors in the area
- Regular local travel throughout DMV for client meetings and seminars
Compensation
- $55,000–$65,000 base, commensurate with experience, plus growth potential as you build your client base
