Job SummaryHello ABA is looking for a compassionate and skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in Columbia, Maryland.
About UsAt Hello ABA, we’re on a mission to reimagine what compassionate, ethical, and neurodiversity-affirming behavior support can look like. Based in Maryland, we are a start-up powered by purpose. Providing exceptional care while fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and strength‑based work culture. Our approach blends gold‑standard behavior analysis with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), values‑based interventions, and a deep commitment to ensuring each child feels happy, relaxed, and engaged because dignity and joy are not add‑ons, they’re core outcomes.
We take a play‑based, NET‑heavy approach, using natural, motivating routines and environments to build meaningful skills that generalize far beyond the therapy session.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop evidence‑based, person‑centered treatment plans.
- Incorporate ACT‑based strategies to build psychological flexibility, emotional regulation, and values‑driven action.
- Design and supervise strength‑based, play‑focused programming that centers client motivation and engagement.
- Utilize Natural Environment Teaching (NET) to support generalization, spontaneity, and joy in learning.
- Train and mentor RBTs to implement teaching strategies with warmth, attunement, and fidelity.
- Collaborate with families, schools, and community partners to support whole‑child growth.
- Monitor progress through both data and observable indicators of well‑being, especially the core markers of being happy, relaxed, and engaged.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Maryland licensure or eligibility required
- Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
- Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities
- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
- Competitive hourly pay ranging from $80 to $115
- Performance‑based incentives available
- Full‑time and part‑time options
- Flexible scheduling with hybrid remote opportunities
- Health insurance, dental insurance, and vision insurance
- 401(k) with company matching
- Paid time off (even part‑time), flexible holidays, and mental health days
- CEU and licensure reimbursement
- Monthly collaborative CEUs and mentorship opportunities with the entire team of BCBA's
If you are a BCBA looking for a fun, supportive, values‑driven practice that prioritizes quality care and clinician well‑being, we encourage you to apply.
