Manager - IT

Peak Partners has a large regional healthcare system client who is seeking a Manager – IT Applications. The ideal candidate will have strategic planning, system selection, implementation, and project management experience in Health Care Information Systems. This is a remote position located in Baltimore, MD but the candidate must be able to be onsite occasionally when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Acts as an Information Technology business liaison to all appropriate departments.
• Responsible for the overall design, implementation, testing, documentation, operation, and support of assigned systems.
• Daily operations to include staff management, development, recruitment, and retention.
• Fiscally responsible for systems and support with a focus on customer service.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems.
• PMP highly desired.
• Management experience is required.
• Deep understanding of Cerner Millennium Patient Accounting (CPA) or current billing application.
• Experience with Cerner Charge Services and General Ledger Interface.
• Knowledge of SQL, CCL (Cerner Command Language), and data extraction tools for reporting and analysis.
• Familiarity with Cerner Revenue Cycle workflows, including integration with Power Chart, Scheduling, and Registration.
• Ability to troubleshoot Cerner Millennium applications, resolve system issues, and optimize financial operations.
• Knowledge of interface development and integration (HL7, FHIR, APIs) with third-party systems.
