The Organizational Capability Consultant supports the design and delivery of talent leadership and organizational development initiatives that enhance workforce engagement, team effectiveness, and business performance. This role works closely with their leader, senior OE consultants, HR partners, and cross‑functional teams to deliver data‑driven insights, facilitate learning experiences, and support the implementation of change and talent strategies. The OE Consultant brings strong analytical, facilitation, and project coordination skills with a passion for building organizational capability.
PrimaryDuties And Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of workforce engagement strategies in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct organizational assessments and contribute to the design of interventions that close gaps between current and desired future states.
- Assist in identifying and prioritizing system‑wide organizational development change or learning needs.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track key talent and organizational effectiveness metrics (e.g., engagement performance, development progress).
- Analyze data from engagement surveys, talent systems, and demographic sources to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Translate complex data into clear actionable insights for HR and business leaders using visual storytelling and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
- Partner with HR Technology and Analytics teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and alignment across systems.
- Support the development of standardized reporting templates and self‑service tools to enable scalable insights across the organization.
- Apply adult learning principles to design and deliver leadership development content, tools and experiences across all leadership levels.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions focused on leadership capabilities, team effectiveness and organizational culture.
- Support the planning and execution of change management strategies including stakeholder communications and training.
- Write program communications and contribute to change plans that ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems.
- Participate in cross‑functional project teams contributing to project planning, tracking progress and communicating status updates.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, timelines and deliverables.
- Partner with HR Technology teams to support the implementation and continuous improvement of talent management systems.
- Assist in managing system enhancements, training and change management to ensure effective system usage and adoption.
- Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Psychology or related field required.
- One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.
- 3–4 years in HR, organizational development, learning & development or related roles required.
- One year of relevant professional‑level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; experience with Excel, Power BI, Tableau or similar tools preferred.
- Experience developing dashboards and reports that support strategic decision‑making.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., Workday, Success Factors) and survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, Glint) is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
- Exposure to project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, MS Project).
- Interest in pursuing certifications in data analytics, change management or project management.
- Growth mindset and a strong desire to learn and contribute to organizational success.
