The scope of this Contract requires specialized expertise in areas such as high-performance computing (HPC), automated processing systems, distributed software design, and secure hosting and networking solutions. The IT infrastructure consists of a mix of Linux, Windows, and UNIX. The environment includes a variety of network devices, server interconnections, mass storage solutions, and essential supporting infrastructure services. The services provided under this Contract support areas including HPC, infrastructure maintenance for HPC systems, networking, office automation, and the development of specialized software.

:
To support our end-user community by providing Tier 2 and 3 on-site and remote supports for computer workstations, servers, printers, peripherals, and teleconferencing equipment. This position requires office presence a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.
- Provide Infrastructure Server and Storage, and Network Sustainment services to enhance, complement, and sustain HPC across two sites and geographic locations (NSAW and NSAU).
- Deliver Network Support that requires system level design, architecture of enterprise security and security boundaries, datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure, packet capture software, TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls.
- Configure and troubleshoot network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices.
- Maintain strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing/switching protocols, L2/L3 protocols, and stateful firewalls.
- Utilize Atlassian Tool Suite for work tracking and documentation; support on-call requirements and live call environments; ticketing via Remedy or equivalent.
- Work with virtualization products such as VMware and Solaris containers.
Required Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph.
Required Qualifications: Three years demonstrable experience in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection, or 5 years of experience in lieu of degree. Must have data center network design and architecture experience, including installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPsec VPNs.
- DoD 8570 IAT II level certification required.
Our CSDI Infrastructure and Sustainment Support Network Engineer (NE I) (Government) earns between $79,300 - $184,800 yearly. The starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
