Azure Cloud Architect

Job Description

The Cloud Architect will maintain an efficient and cost-effective migration of data, applications, and other technologies from an on‑premises platform to a cloud‑based infrastructure.

This job is to include, but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

• Migrating data from on-premises or legacy systems to the Cloud
• Administer Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and One Drive.
• Monitor system health and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Conducting risk assessments
• Identifying technical requirements
• Managing project timelines
• Identifying and recommending opportunities for optimization and cost savings in the cloud environment
• Working with stakeholders to ensure business needs are met during and after migration
• Providing post‑migration support and addressing any issues that arise.
• Documenting configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Automating administrative tasks using Power Shell scripts.
• Implement security and compliance policies.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and licensing.
• Ensuring seamless integration, security, and optimal performance of Microsoft 365 applications such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and One Drive.

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of Azure Cloud Architecture experience
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing issues
• Proficiency in Power Shell scripting for automation and configuration management tasks
• Proven experience as an M365 Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role, with a focus on M365 and Azure cloud environments
• Proven experience with Azure cloud services and migration projects
• Python knowledge
• Strong ability to self‑organize and prioritize tasks
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and One Drive
• Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
• Strong proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure platforms, including identity management, authentication mechanisms, and security controls
• Understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with a polygraph is required
