Systems Engineer

Piper Companies is currently looking for an Systems Engineer in the Columbia, MD area to work for an established healthcare provider to design, implement and maintain a hybrid on‑premises and Azure cloud infrastructure.

• Design and implement hybrid infrastructure solutions across on‑prem and Azure environments
• Lead proof‑of‑concepts and requirements gathering for Azure cloud‑readiness initiatives
• Deploy and manage Azure services including Azure Arc, Log Analytics, Key Vault, Azure Storage Accounts, and Azure AD Groups
• Maintain and support on‑prem Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, PKI/certificates, and enterprise networking

• Bachelor's degree or 8-10 years experience in the field preferred
• Strong on‑prem experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, PKI, and enterprise networking
• On‑prem/hybrid experience required
• Azure experience with Azure Arc, Log Analytics, Key Vault, Azure AD Groups, and Storage Accounts
• Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper‑V a plus

• Salary Range: $,000 (depending on experience)
• Hybrid work schedule; 3 days a week onsite
