Job Description Level 1 Systems Administrator - Linux / Enterprise IT Operations Mission-Driven Work at Kryptauri Kryptauri partners with government and defense organizations to deliver secure, high-assurance IT solutions in sensitive environments. We are seeking a Level 1 Systems Administrator (SA) to support mission-critical infrastructure, ensuring operational continuity, compliance, and system integrity across enterprise platforms. What You'll Do As a Systems Administrator, you will directly support enterprise IT systems used in secure environments, contributing to daily operations and rapid issue resolution across infrastructure components.
* Provide implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance support for IT systems

* Deliver Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (escalation) support for incident diagnosis and resolution

* Maintain day-to-day operations across client/server/storage/network environments and mobile devices

* Install, configure, and administer Linux (CentOS 7, Rocky Linux 9, RHEL
9) and Windows 10/11 systems

* Execute system upgrades, patching, and configuration management

* Support Customer Secure the Enterprise (STE) and secure data transfer operations

* Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize reliability

* Assist end users with system access, usability, and technical support

* Support hardware installation and provisioning (servers, workstations, laptops)

* Participate in escalation workflows and communicate status to leadership and stakeholders

* Contribute to system capacity planning and performance optimization

Required Qualifications
* Active security clearance (TS/SCI with FS Poly)

* Five (5) years of Systems Administration experience in environments of similar scope, complexity, and security requirements

* Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
* (OR 5 additional years of SA experience in lieu of degree)
* Hands-on experience with:

* Linux administration (CentOS, Rocky Linux, RHEL)

* Enterprise IT support and troubleshooting workflows

* System installation, upgrades, and lifecycle management

* Secure environments and compliance-driven processes Desired Skills Preferred Skills
* Automation and configuration management (Ansible)

* Network-based provisioning (PXE boot environments)

* Virtualization experience (Proxmox)

* Identity and Access Management (IdM / LDAP integration)

* RHCSA or equivalent certification

* Experience troubleshooting and configuring TLS / secure communications

* Cross-platform administration (Linux + Windows)
