We are seeking a motivated Junior Dev Ops Engineer to join our client’s team in Columbia, MD. This full‑time, entry‑level position supports a U.S. Government customer in maintaining critical mission‑related software and systems. The role offers hybrid scheduling, opportunities for hands‑on training, and growth within a collaborative team of engineers.

This is a priority role with anticipated start dates in late June and interviews beginning May 5.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related field) or five years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong communication skills.
• Key skills:
  Kubernetes, Docker, Docker-compose, Helm, Git, Git Lab and Git Lab runners, Rancher, and Linux command line tools.
• Desired skills:
  Experience with Dockerized microservice architecture and AWS tools such as Cloud Formation, EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, and DynamoDB.

Competitive base salary of $70k–$130k, hybrid schedule, potential sign‑on bonus, over five weeks of PTO, direct 401(k) contributions, comprehensive health insurance, and bonuses.
