Systems Engineer – Customer Focused MSP

About the Role

We’re looking for a Systems Engineer with MSP industry experience to design, support, and maintain client infrastructures across a diverse set of environments. You’ll ensure the stability, security, and performance of client systems while following our best practices and delivering an excellent customer experience.

• Support and enhance client network and server infrastructure
• Administer Windows servers and virtual clusters (VMware/Hyper‑V)
• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and systems
• Monitor performance and remediate issues proactively
• Administer security tools, permissions, user accounts, email, and threat protection
• Manage backup/restore processes and disaster recovery workflows
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation
• Travel to client sites as needed and participate in on‑call rotation
• Assist with remote support tickets and project work when required

• MSP experience required
• 3–5 years in network/system administration
• Experience with Windows, macOS, Azure/AWS, AD, VMware, Cisco/Sonic Wall/HP/Aruba, LAN/WAN/VPN
• Strong understanding of cloud + on‑prem architectures
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Strong troubleshooting, customer service, and project management abilities
• $80–95K base + annual bonuses (last year 10.5% of gross income)
