Overview
We are looking for a System Administrator to design, deploy, and maintain Cross Domain Solutions for an enterprise environment supporting critical cybersecurity mission customers for the Department of Defense.
Responsibilities- Design and deploy infrastructure using latest technologies.
- Recommend technologies and strategies to improve platform security, stability, reliability and compliance with security controls.
- Propose architecture changes to improve speed and performance.
- Provide customers with insights through monitoring and performance management.
- Identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement on mission critical network.
- Translate metrics into actionable information and explain meaning to the team.
- Share expertise through leadership and mentoring, helping the team solve challenges and develop new methodologies.
- Lead modernization efforts to meet customer needs.
- 3+ years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux or CentOS.
- Experience with GIT.
- Experience managing virtual machines and VMware ESXi.
- Knowledge of Linux firewalls, RPMs, networking configuration, and DNS.
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree in CS or IT field and 5+ years of experience with systems or network administration, or 10+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Ability to obtain DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification within 60 days of start date.
- Experience with AWS.
- Experience managing systems using Infrastructure as Code technologies (Salt, Ansible, Puppet, Power Shell, Chef, Terraform).
- Experience with Python.
- Experience with Apache NiFi or Niagra Files.
- Knowledge of bi-directional network transfer systems.
- DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification.
Applicants must obtain TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and be subject to a security investigation.
CompensationSalary range: $77,600.00 to $ (annualized USD). Salary determined by multiple factors including location, experience, and contract requirements.
