Info Security Analyst
This role is responsible for designing, developing, and recommending integrated security systems and physical control solutions to safeguard proprietary and confidential data. The position ensures that organizational systems are protected against information-related risks through robust technical security measures. The individual will provide technical engineering support for integrated security solutions, working closely with clients to translate business and security requirements into effective technical designs.
Responsibilities include configuring and validating secure systems, implementing physical security controls, and testing security products and systems to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
The role operates with defined objectives, establishing goals to meet assigned targets. Performance is evaluated based on the successful achievement of objectives and adherence to schedules. The position may also involve recommending and implementing changes to policies that impact subordinate teams and providing guidance to ensure alignment with organizational standards.
The role involves working on complex challenges requiring in-depth analysis of data and situations. The individual must exercise sound judgment within broadly defined practices and policies to select appropriate methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to achieve results. Contributions primarily focus on assigned projects and activities. Decisions made in this role can significantly impact business operations, and failure to meet objectives may result in serious business or schedule disruptions.
The position may require interaction with senior management across multiple functional areas, divisions, and customers. Strong influencing skills are necessary to gain alignment and acceptance in sensitive or complex situations. The individual operates with a high degree of independence, determining methods and procedures for new assignments. The role may also include responsibility for technical direction, leadership, and mentoring of less experienced team members.
This role may involve guiding team members, supporting training initiatives, and ensuring effective execution of technical objectives.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities include comprehensive knowledge of integrated security systems and solutions, the ability to handle complex and uncommon technical challenges, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, experience in developing and implementing security controls and policies, knowledge of assigned products, company functions, and service procedures, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and the capability to lead initiatives and provide guidance to junior personnel.
Typical education includes a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
