Data Scientist - AI/ML (Senior Software Developer; Systems Software)
Location:
Columbia, MD
- 3+ years of Defensive Cyber Operations experience.
- 3+ years of Machine Learning techniques and statistical model evaluation.
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph required for consideration.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 8 years of experience; an advanced degree will be considered in lieu of years of experience.
- Master's degree in a relevant field and 4 years of experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency with R or Python, and SQL to manipulate data and draw insights from large and small data sets.
- Exposure to AWS (Amazon Web Services), Cisco (CCNA), and/or STIGs/IAVA, Big Data Platform (BDP).
- Strong background and skills in Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL)/Windows/Virtual environments.
- A problem solver who can get in, be given a project, and use engineering skills to determine a solution.
- Python, Jupyter Notebooks, Network Analysis Tools.
