SALARY RANGE: $210 - 228K

We are seeking an experienced Dev Sec Ops / Systems Administrator to design, implement, secure, and maintain development and operational environments across cloud-based, on-premises, and air-gapped systems. This position will integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle, automate deployment and security processes, administer critical infrastructure, and support the secure movement and processing of data from front-end applications through back-end and downstream systems.
The ideal candidate will have broad technical expertise spanning Dev Sec Ops , systems administration, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, server deployment, dataflow architecture, encryption, and compliance. This individual must be comfortable working across multidisciplinary teams and translating technical, security, operational, and customer requirements into reliable and secure solutions.
Key Responsibilities Dev Sec Ops and Security IntegrationIntegrate security controls, practices, and testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
Automate application security testing, vulnerability scanning, compliance checks, and deployment processes.
Incorporate security tools into development, build, testing, and release workflows.
Conduct security assessments of new and existing systems, applications, and infrastructure.
Identify, prioritize, document, and support the remediation of security vulnerabilities.
Implement security frameworks, standards, policies, and industry best practices.
Monitor systems and infrastructure for security incidents, vulnerabilities, configuration issues, and emerging threats.
Develop technical solutions to satisfy system security and data-protection requirements.
Establish and publish Dev Sec Ops procedures, technical standards, and security best practices.
Build, configure, secure, administer, and maintain physical and virtual servers.
Support cloud, on-premises, hybrid, and air-gapped computing environments.
Manage system configurations, operating systems, user access, permissions, patching, backups, and system availability.
Implement and maintain encryption for data at rest and in transit.
Monitor the health, performance, reliability, and security of networks, servers, applications, and supporting infrastructure.
Troubleshoot complex system, network, application, integration, and deployment issues.
Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions to create consistent, repeatable, and secure environments.
Support system hardening, configuration management, change management, and lifecycle maintenance.
Assist with the integration and administration of Cross Domain Solutions and other controlled data-transfer technologies, as applicable.
Design, implement, and support dataflow architectures that move information securely from front-end systems to back-end services and downstream processing environments.
Analyze interfaces, data dependencies, processing requirements, and security boundaries across interconnected systems.
Support secure data exchanges among applications, networks, cloud environments, and external systems.
Work with software, hardware, and systems engineering teams to integrate system components and resolve technical dependencies.
Ensure data-handling solutions comply with applicable security, encryption, access-control, and operational requirements.
Support Authorization to Operate activities, including the preparation and maintenance of required security documentation.
Assist with security control implementation, assessment, evidence collection, remediation tracking, and audit preparation.
Develop and maintain system policies, procedures, diagrams, configuration records, and other technical documentation.
Work with cybersecurity, engineering, customer, and program stakeholders to address compliance requirements and authorization findings.
Ensure system configurations and operational practices remain consistent with applicable security frameworks and organizational policies.
Collaborate closely with software engineers, hardware engineers, systems engineers, cybersecurity personnel, customers, and support operations teams.
Provide technical guidance during system design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and operational implementation.
Promote shared responsibility for security across development, engineering, and operations teams.
Communicate technical risks, system requirements, vulnerabilities, and recommended solutions clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Support production deployments, system upgrades, incident response, troubleshooting, and operational transition activities.
