Systems Administrator 2 w​/ Poly

Amentum is seeking a System Administrator for a new prime contract that is based out of our Maryland office.

• Provide support for IT system implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Manage IT system infrastructure and related processes.
• Perform day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve Tier I (Help Desk) and Tier II (Escalation) issues; handle escalation and status communication to agency management and internal customers.
• Support the dispatch system and hardware problems, remaining involved through resolution.
• Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, install/load OS software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components; implement OS enhancements for reliability and performance.
• Manage daily configuration and operation of IT systems; assist users with accessing and using IT systems.
• Optimize system operations, resource utilization, and perform capacity analysis and planning.
• Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.

• Clearance required:
  
  TS/SCI Poly.
• Minimum education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, IT Engineering, or related field; otherwise, four (4) additional years of work-related experience may substitute for the required total of twelve (12) years.
• Minimum experience:
  
  Ten (10) years as a System Administrator on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Required certifications:
  Compliance with DoD
  8570.01-M at a minimum IAM Level I.
