CoreResponsibilities
- Maintain and monitor integrations across core finance systems (e.g., Sage Intacct, ADP, Nexus, Concur, Tableau) to ensure synchronized, accurate data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration errors, data mismatches, and sync failures; document issues and escalate when required.
- Support design, evaluation, and implementation of new system integrations and integration improvements.
- Identify manual or error-prone processes and design automation to improve accuracy and staff capacity.
- Build, test, document, and maintain automated workflows as business needs evolve.
- Assist in developing and deploying AI-enabled tools for reporting and finance operations; prepare and structure data for AI use and help evaluate outputs.
- Manage financial data sources in Tableau (or similar), ensuring clean, well-organized datasets.
- Create and maintain automated dashboards and visualizations communicating KPIs to leadership and non-financial stakeholders.
- Partner with finance colleagues and outsourced accounting partners to support monthly close, reporting, and audit processes.

- Perform other duties as assigned to support finance operations and technology improvements.
- Systems thinking and technical aptitude: foundational understanding of databases, data flows, and software integrations; strong problem-solving and fast learning capability.
- Data visualization skills or strong interest in Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools; ability to translate reporting needs into accessible visuals for non-technical audiences.
- Genuine curiosity about AI and automation and comfort preparing and evaluating data for AI-enabled workflows.
- Clear written and verbal communication; strong documentation habits to enable colleagues to use supported systems.
- Ownership mindset, initiative, and follow-through.
- Alignment with Confidential Client’s mission and values, and demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
- Must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or meet lawful accommodation/exemption requirements.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Finance, or a related field — or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 0–1 year of professional experience (internships, co-ops, and academic projects count).
- Foundational understanding of databases, data flows, and system integration concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to learn new platforms quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to mission-aligned values and DEIB principles.
Preferred:

- Familiarity with finance or accounting systems (Sage Intacct, ADP, Concur, Nexus) or demonstrated interest in finance operations.
- Basic scripting/programming skills (Python, SQL) and experience with APIs or integration tools.
- Prior experience in nonprofit, adult education, K–12, or higher education settings;
Spanish language skills are a plus.
- Annual starting salary range: $58,500 - $71,500, commensurate with experience.
- 46 total days of time off in year one (paid holidays, vacation, sick, and personal time); this amount increases with tenure.
