- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of systems analysis experience
- Hands-on experience with Python
- Hands-on experience with Java
- Hands-on experience with SQL
- Hands-on experience with Tableau
- Hands-on experience with React, Angular, or a similar modern web-interface technology
- Hands-on PostgreSQL experience, including data modeling, SQL querying, performance tuning, and database migration
- Experience with IT systems analysis and/or modernization
- Experience with report automation and data-driven reporting
- Experience with database or data-management initiatives
- Experience with requirements and workflow analysis
- Experience with technical and/or SOP documentation
- Strong communication and analytical problem-solving skills
- U.S. citizenship is required
- DHS security/background processing must be completed before work begins
- DHS security/privacy requirements apply
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload based on client needs
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and frequent changes in priorities
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent technical writing skills and proven experience in systems with complex requirements
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of the system development lifecycle as implemented with Agile
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to navigate in an office setting unassisted
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
- Strong speaking skills, including the ability to articulate thoughts clearly and excellent word enunciation skills
