# Cloud Fin Ops Engineer## About the Role  As a Cloud Fin Ops Engineer at Lumiture, you will play a vital role in enhancing cloud financial management for a government agency. This position focuses on developing and implementing a modern Fin Ops model to improve cloud cost visibility and optimize resource allocation. Collaborating closely with IT, Finance, and business stakeholders, you will drive initiatives that help transform cloud usage data into actionable insights and measurable business value.

Your key responsibilities will include establishing governance frameworks, developing cost management processes, and implementing tooling for enhanced financial operations. Key Responsibilities  – Establish and operationalize a Fin Ops governance framework, including policies, standards, and accountability models.  – Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, Finance, and Business Units to assess current practices and improve cloud cost management.  – Design a Fin Ops organizational structure encompassing roles, responsibilities, and communication channels.  – Recommend and implement Fin Ops tooling to enhance cost visibility, control, and reporting.  

– Develop capabilities for cost allocation, including tagging strategies and cost reporting dashboards.  – Identify and analyze cloud waste and optimization opportunities to improve resource utilization.  – Implement rightsizing solutions and cost optimization strategies through automated recommendations.  – Contribute to the development of the Fin Ops roadmap by assessing maturity and prioritizing initiatives.  – Support change management efforts through stakeholder engagement, training, and KPI development.  

– Identify automation and AI pilot opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.## Required Skills  – US Citizenship or Dual Citizenship.  – Experience in cloud financial management, Fin Ops, or cloud infrastructure engineering.  – Strong understanding of cloud governance, cost allocation, and operational accountability.  – Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration with technology, finance, and business operations.  – Capability to improve cloud cost visibility and financial controls.  

– Experience in identifying waste, rightsizing opportunities, and cost anomalies in cloud environments.  – Familiarity with tagging strategies and Fin Ops operating practices.
