We represent clients in matters involving discrimination, harassment, and workplace compliance. We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Paralegal to join our team.
Position SummaryThe Paralegal will support attorneys in all phases of employment litigation and pre-litigation matters. This role involves case management, client communication, preparing legal documents, conducting legal research, drafting and organizing discovery and coordinating with courts and administrative agencies.
Key Responsibilities- Assist attorneys with case management
- Draft and revise legal documents, including demand letters, pleadings, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and correspondence
- Prepare EEOC and other administrative agency filings
- Conduct fact-gathering and basic legal research
- Organize and maintain case files (electronic and physical)
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel
- Assist with deposition preparation, trial preparation, and hearing binders
- Manage deadlines and maintain the litigation calendar
- Support the team with administrative tasks, as needed
- Paralegal Certificate required
- 2-7 years of paralegal experience, preferably in employment law or complex litigation
- Strong understanding of state and federal employment laws
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Professionalism and discretion with sensitive information
- Competitive salary: $26-35/hour
