Base Pay Range$18.25 per hour.
A Brief OverviewAs a certified Safelite Repair Specialist I, you will utilize our technology to complete vehicle glass repairs. You will champion the Safelite Spirit with a can‑do attitude, caring heart, and service mindset while striving to bring unexpected happiness to customers by completing jobs to the highest quality standards.
What You Will Do- Learn to repair vehicle glass in classroom and hands‑on training with a focus on the Safelite Way of Fitting.
- Repair chips, cracks and other auto glass related issues on customer vehicles.
- Manage work orders, customer documentation, and communication using the Safelite handheld Mobile Resource Management (MRM) technology. Promote and sell Safelite promotional items to customers.
- Clean customer vehicle during waiting/idle time and perform housekeeping tasks in the company vehicle and shop.
- Operate company and customer vehicles, company‑issued tools and chemicals safely throughout the workday.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
- Competitive hourly base pay starting at $18.25.

- High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent (preferred).
- Valid state‑issued driver’s license and any other licenses required to operate a company vehicle (required).
- Completion of Safelite Safe Tech™ certification (on‑the‑job training).
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. for short periods; assist in lifting windshields weighing 26–50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work in tight spaces, bend and twist.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Capability to operate a motor vehicle safely; monitored via camera/video surveillance.
- Professionalism and passion for outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
- Comfort using chemicals, as applicable per the Safelite Way of Fitting.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate customer needs.
- Problem‑solving skills, independently and collaboratively.
- Reading, writing, and interpreting English and technical directions.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance, adhering to uniform and PPE policies.
- Ability to maintain stable performance under pressure.
This position involves driving duties monitored through cameras, GPS, and other tracking technologies to ensure safety and compliance.
