Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager will be supporting a 10-hospital health system and will be responsible for the overall capital replacement strategy for critical hospital infrastructure within the system. Responsibilities include designing the deferred maintenance strategy, working with site facility directors to create capital infrastructure replacement needs, and developing and leading the execution of the annual capital infrastructure plan. The Senior Project Manager will also utilize facility software such as space planning and project management platforms, develop high-level presentations for C-suite leaders, and manage a team of project managers to execute all infrastructure projects across the health system.

Responsibilities
  • Execute condition assessments of infrastructure equipment to drive the annual capital plan
  • Lead a team of in‑house assessors to coordinate condition assessments on equipment and develop RFPs from the assessment findings
  • Solicit feasibility studies, designs, and cost estimates from contractors and design firms to package project scope, schedule, and budget
  • Deliver capital allocation recommendations based on lead times, construction schedules and costs
  • Ensure capital investment strategy aligns with health system initiatives and local hospital priorities
  • Develop benchmarks from condition assessment data across the health system to present to senior leadership
  • Utilize software for project management tracking and reporting
  • Utilize the online platform for space planning, integrating life safety drawings, asset mapping, and space utilization
  • Collaborate with the Regional Director to appropriately coordinate and implement strategic project goals
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (preferred)
  • 3–5 years of project and asset management experience in critical infrastructure environments
  • Experience managing teams
  • Ability to analyze large data sets and communicate complex technical data clearly and concisely
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications
